Caerphilly Trail 5k and 10k
SUNDAY 16 FEBRUARY 2025
These quiet trails are within a stone’s throw of Cardiff and and yet feel a world away.
Whether you’re looking for a thrilling fast race to push you on multi-terrain (there is a great downhill single-track!), a serene morning on the trails or a race to start your trail running adventures - this race has something for you.
Both routes will be fully marked so you can relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside around Caerphilly. You will pass through fields, woods and, yes, there will be a few hills! Just like our marathons and half marathons, you can expect spectacular scenery, a good variety of terrain and to cross the finish line with a huge sense of achievement!

This is not a park run!
This is a 5k trail race. Our route will feel like an exploration, through woods and hills and fields. You will take longer than your parkrun due to the 'proper trail' nature of it. Many people have entered our race, and loved it so much that they progress to our longer races - which is what we are all about. This has the feel of an ultra, but in a 10K race. Quite simply - many tell us that this race has made them fall in love with trail running.

A full description of the route can be found here.
